2010 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance weekend. The seminar will be on
Saturday, June 12 from 9-11 a.m. at Porsche of the Village, 4113
Plainville Road, Cincinnati OH 45227.
There is no cost for this special seminar and you do not need to
register in advance.
Back by popular demand, Mark Kennison, co-owner at D&D Classic, will
again present "The Process and History of Coachbuilding". Mark will
detail how the coachbuilding tradition has evolved over the
centuries from the shaping of metal armor in the Middle Ages,
through the stagecoach, timber construction, steam, station buck and
several more processes into the current digital age design. Part of
Mark’s presentation this year will be actual demonstrations of metal
forming.
D&D Classis is a nationally known state-of-the-art auto restoration
shop located in Covington, Ohio that has created award winning cars.
They provide complete chassis rebuilding, mechanical restoration,
rewiring, metal restoration and finishing, and paint. Their motto is
“Let us build your dream”.
Mark will be bringing with him extensive photos of their
restorations and will be available to answer your questions after
the presentation.
