William K. Victor Best of Show Concours d'Elegance
Sponsored by CCI Design
1935 Delahaye 135 M Competition Owner - Gene & Sally Perkins Greenwood, IN
Bill Victor was one of the longest standing driving forces behind the Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance. Since its earliest days as the Midwest Concours d'Elegance, he held numerous positions ranging from Concours Chairman, Car Selection Chairman, Chief Judge and on to his many years as Master of Ceremonies. No one involved with the show had a broader or deeper knowledge of all vintages and makes of automobiles than Bill. His advice and contributions to making this show what it is today have been invaluable and it is for this reason that since 2009 the Best of Show trophy has been named in his honor. |

Bill Rudd Memorial Corvette Trophy
1954 Chevrolet Corvette Owner - Gary Mortimer Cincinnati, OH
Over thirty years ago a small group of people, including Bill Rudd, started the first Concours d'Elegance with a twofold purpose. First, it was an event to raise monies for the many worthwhile activities of the Arthritis Foundation. Secondly, it was an opportunity for local car collectors to socialize and share their interest in cars. Bill and his family have managed the entry gates of the Concours ever since. Bill's favorites were the Corvettes, particularly the earlier straight axle cars. Bill succumbed to the effects of his severe arthritis in 2007. We honor his 30-year participation by presenting the annual Bill Rudd best Corvette Award… an award that continues to be selected by the Rudd family. |
